This role will be working closely with the hardware&software development team to ensure the overall quality and reliability of Polycom conference related hardware products, and will focus on component qualification and Reliability.
Responsibilities:
o Establish component qualification and Reliability test strategy;
o Follow the test driven development process, to provide reliability design guide and support to development team.
o Take the responsibility of reliability test (environmental test and Halt test) and component qualification test.
o Perform board level hardware QA test, include SI, PI, THERMAL, and EMC etc.
o Highlight test failure symptoms and involve in the failure analysis.
o Assistant EE engineer, implementing schematics review, PCB review.
Qualifications:
o EE or equivalent engineering specialty
o 2+ years electronics design experience, and 2+ years electronics test experience
o Strong knowledge on Reliability and Component qualification;
o Familiar with common components, like Memory/Flash/Clock/SD card, etc.
o Strong knowledge on hardware product test method and test equipment, rich experience using test equipments, such as high-speed oscilloscope, thermal chamber, HALT chamber, etc
o Experience of failure data analysis and technical test report writing
o Excellent written and oral communication skills (Mandarin and English)
