So what's the best way to check the oil level?
If your car is cold, like it has sat unused overnight, you can check the oil level right away. The oil will have had time to settle back into the sump. Just make sure the car is level before you do. If the engine is warm or hot, like you've just been driving, then you should wait for 30 minutes or so to let as much oil as possible drain back into the sump. Ideally, checking it first thing the next morning is ideal.
关键在：第二种看法（热车）读到的液面肯定低于第一种，如果两次的液面分别在MAX的上下约1/2处，怎么办？？ ——我的车车情况就这样，我估计很多车也有类似情况，不过不注意罢了
