What you’ll do
As a Software Developer in the NLP team at SAS Beijing R&D, you will:
o Design and build cloud-ready natural language processing software with high availability and scalability as part of a self-driven agile team that delivers customer-ready software to satisfy business requirements at the end of every iteration.
o Actively involve other project stakeholders (e.g. managers, developers, user interface and mid-tier designers, product managers, tech writers) to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements and is consistent with established R&D standards.
o Ensure quality through functional, unit and performance testing; work closely with testing team to deliver high quality software.
o Provide support for NLP software/solutions to investigate and solve technical issues reported by customers.
o Prototype and demonstrate solutions to internal and external customers.
What we’re looking for
o Bachelor/Master degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
o Solid programming skills in C or C++, experience with Python is a plus
o Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning/deep learning, natural language processing
o Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and with a team
o Good written and verbal English language communication skills
o Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and agile is desirable
