DESCRIPTION
The RF Engineering Physicist is responsible to research and develop accelerating waveguides and high-power RF components used in the beam generation module of radiotherapy linac systems, and to provide advice, design considerations and technical support for new product development and for manufacturing/service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with other hardware/software engineers in the BGM Engineering team and undertake assigned tasks 与BGM工程团队其他硬件、软件工程师协同工作,完成分配的任务
R&D on accelerator waveguide and RF Engineering 加速器波导管和微波工程研发:
- Develop and improve RF test and tuning technology of accelerator waveguide 开发和改进加速器波导管微波测试、调谐技术
- Develop and conduct tests on high power microwave components of beam generation module (BGM) 开发和执行束流发生模块高功率微波器件的测试
- Provide physics input for BGM development 对束流发生模块的开发提供物理输入
- Develop and conduct other tests related to waveguide and RF engineering 开发和执行波导和微波相关的其他测试
- Physics design on RF structure of the accelerator waveguide products 加速器波导产品微波结构的物理设计
Generate design/test documents, conduct design reviews and release the designed work on relevant company software platforms 生成设计和测试文档,进行设计评审,在公司相关软件平台发布设计结果
Review design documents and drawings by other engineers to provide physics inputs 评审其他工程师的设计文档和图纸,给出物理输入
Transfer design work from R&D to manufacturing/procurement/service by oral and written communications, for example operation demonstration, personnel training, work instructions, standard operation procedures 通过口头和书面沟通,以操作演示、人员培训、工作指导书、标准操作流程的形式,把设计输出从研发转移给生产、采购和服务部门
Support the resolution of incidents from manufacturing or installed base incidents, which may include traveling to customer sites to troubleshoot specific problems 支持生产和现场问题的解决,必要时去到客户现场进行问题调试
Work with QA/RA to ensure compliance in regulatory issues and support from physics/technical perspective 工作中会同QA和RA部门保证开发的符合性,为产品符合性工作提供物理和技术支持
Support other functions of the business when needed, including but not limited to, giving technical presentations or crafting technical documentation for internal and external customers 有需要时支持其他部门的工作,包括但不限于给内部或外部客户提供技术讲演和技术文档
Essential requirements:
Strong physics and mathematical background with a master or Ph.D degree on accelerator physics and technology, microwave engineering or related area; or a bachelor’s degree on physics/microwave/communication engineering or related fields with at least three years’ work experience 具备较强的物理和数学背景,应具备加速器物理和技术、微波工程或相关领域硕士或博士学位,或者三年以上工作经验的物理、微波、通讯工程领域学士学位
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences of microwave engineering and testing 对微波工程和测试具备丰富知识和操作经验
Good communication skills in written and spoken English; ability to interact well with highly technical teams and communicate with other department of the business; ability to give technical presentations in a professional manner 能进行英语口语和书面沟通,能和技术团队和其他部门合作沟通,能够进行专业的技术讲演
Ability to learn new knowledge/technology continuously and work in a planned and organized manner 能够在工作中持续学习新的知识和技能,工作有计划和条理
Preferred requirements:
Knowledge of the principles of accelerators, especially medical linear accelerators 了解加速器(尤其是医用直线加速器)的原理
Experiences in accelerator waveguides testing and tuning 有加速器波导管测试和调谐的经验
Knowledge of beam dynamics design of accelerator waveguides 了解加速器波导管的束流动力学设计
Knowledge in high power microwave devices and test methods 了解高功率微波器件和测试方法
Experiences of working in cross-functional projects, especially in multinational companies and with Agile development methodologies 有参与大型项目开发的经历,尤其是跨国公司和敏捷开发的经历
Ability to use microwave simulation software (e.g. ANSYS HFSS, CST MWS) or c/c++/Matlab/VBA/Python/LabView etc for scientific/engineering studies 会使用微波仿真软件如ANSYS HFSS何CST MWS,能用c/c++/Matlab/VBA/Python/LabView等进行科学或工程研究
Knowledge of industrial standards applicable to medical devices, especially to medical linear accelerators 了解医疗器械尤其是医用直线加速器相关行业标准
