WebXT (Web Experience Team including Search/Ads/MSN) Data in Microsoft STCA is responsible for developing and operating one of the world’s largest data eco-system: PiB data has been being processed, stored and accessed via the data API every day by streaming/batches, from instrumentation to analytics. Besides, modern open-source technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Kylin and Click House are widely used in the team to run the big data business successfully. Plus, the team is also offering bot detection service via machine learning/data analysis to save online serving cost and provide clean user behavior data. Thousands of developers in Bing, Ads and MSN are working on top of the data products that the team build. We’re looking for passionate data engineers to join us for the mission of powering Microsoft Search/Ads/MSN businesses through data substrate and infusing our data capabilities to the industry.
  
Responsibilities
o Design and develop key capabilities for our planet-scale data systems
o Build intelligence on top of 200 PiB of Microsoft data assets to power Microsoft businesses and industry
o Work with world-class engineer/scientist team on Big Data, Analytics and OLAP/OLTP
o Embrace both Microsoft technology and cutting-edge open source technology (Spark/Kafka/Click House/Kylin, etc.)
  
Qualifications
o Passion on big data, data science and analytics
o Solid coding, engineering and analytical skills
o Good analytics skill, good communication skill, fluent in English (both oral and written)
o Experience in developing large-scale distributed system or experiences of Hadoop ecosystem is a plus
