Software Engineer – 软件开发工程师
Responsibilities工作职责:
- Design, develop and maintain high quality code for product components, focusing on implementation using agile methodology
- Receive requirements from technical leads / product owners and perform software development feature tasks
- Create unit tests, component tests and automated functional tests for the software components developed.
- Propose technical solutions to product/service problems and implement software components in line with technical requirements.
- Enhance the existing code to add new features to the product
- Fix issues in existing code
- Learn new technologies and apply them in software development.
- Collaborate with peers on implementation.
- Learn domain quickly (backup/restore/snapshot/replication management etc.)
Qualifications任职要求:
- Education: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech from a reputed university.
Technical Skillsets技术能力要求:
- Must have strong C/C++ programming skills
- Must possess knowledge of Algorithms & Data Structure
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies including peer review, test driven development, and continuous integration and delivery and relevant toolchain (e.g. JIRA, BitBucket, etc)
- Should be good in hands-on development and troubleshooting capability.
- Understanding of Cloud technology (Knowledge of REST APIs, AWS S3, OpenStack, Azure) is a plus.
- Some knowledge of data analytics and storage domain technologies such as Logical Volume Managers, Filesystems, Snapshots, Disk Arrays & NAS Devices (e.g. EMC, NetApp etc.), SAN/NAS Devices is a plus.
- Must have good system level (UNIX System call, socket programming, Win32 APIs, multi-threading etc.) programming knowledge on Unix/Linux (primary) and possibly on Windows platform.

Responsibilities工作职责
- Perform writing and executing test plans and test cases including manual and automation tests on data protection software products
- Configuration of test environments with different computer hardware and operation systems
- Verification test results, documentation of tests results and reporting of status, issue fixing
Qualifications任职要求
- Bachelor degree with experience in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering streams
- Proven understanding of both Linux and Windows required. Good system level understanding of at least one operating system.
- Knowledge of backup restore application and storage is plus.
- Programming skill in one of script languages as Python, Perl, Shell is a plus
- Self-motivated, can-do attitude, good collaboration and communication skill
- English Language skill required.
