Sales Manager
Our client is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions. A joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), one of the world’s major oil companies, and Austrilian based Borealis, a leading provider of chemical and plastics solutions, the company’s footprint reaches across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, the Indian sub-continent and Africa. Established in 1998, they employ approximately 1,400 people, has customers in 50 countries and its headquarters are in Abu Dhabi in the UAE and Singapore.
Title: Sales Manager
Location: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou
Responsibilities:
1. To identify potential customers in China.
2. To visit existing and potential customers to identify their needs.
3. To assist Regional Sales Manager, Polyolefin in managing the sales activities within the region.
4. To assist Regional Sales Manager, Polyolefin in carrying out the market research activities within China.
5. To service and co-ordinate with customers and Operation Department on timely payment.
6. To service and co-ordinate with customers and Operation Department on smooth and timely delivery of products.
7. To co-ordinate with Risk Management/Finance Department to overcome customer blocked orders due to payment of credit limit issues.
8. To assist in order entry and order change processing.
9. To assist in warehouse operation for Polyolefin.
10. To update all meetings with customers or business associates to Regional Sales Manager, Polyolefin.
11. To share all market information with related departments.
12. To assist in generating monthly report.
13. To back up Regional Sales Manager, Polyolefin.
14. To assist in other sales and marketing activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. University degree or above, major in Chemicals or Business related discipline
2. 3 or more years experience in petrochemical, petroleum or gas industries
3. Good leadership qualities, drive and maturity
4. Good interpersonal skills to relate effectively with colleagues and customers
5. Good negotiation and communication skills
6. Self-motivated and energetic in developing new business
7. Proficient in spoken and written English.
