A research associate position is available in the laboratory of Yao Zhongping at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the development and application of solvent-free MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Applicants should: (a) have a Master or PhD degree in chemistry or biochemistry or other related disciplines; (b) preferably have research experience in MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (training will be given to the successful applicant if he/she doesn’t have experience in MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry); (c) have a good command of English; and (d) be mature and able to work independently. The position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for one further year. Salary offered will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
