【内容】Dr. Chih-Jen Shih, who will be joining Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering at ETH Zurich as a tenure-track assistant professor, would like to recruit one PhD student, starting from 2015 Fall.
ETH Zurich is consistently rated among the best universities in the world and provides cutting-edge resources and collaborative environment. Group members will have the opportunities to not only use these resources but also co-work with international faculty and researchers.
Shih Lab at ETH Zurich will be focused on the intersection of the following fields: (i) Nanomaterials Synthesis, Growth, and Processing, (ii) Organic and Polymer Electronics, (iii) Interfacial Science and Engineering, and (iv) Phase-Field and Molecular Modeling. Depending on the student’s interests, different research projects will be suggested, after joining the group.
Qualifications:
(a) Master degree of Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering.
(b) Demonstration of solid fundamental background and academic performance.
(c) Toefl iBT > 90.
