position of strength是一个英语习语，直译大概相当于汉语里的“有利地位”的意思，并非什么实力地位或力量。。。

布林肯在3月4的一个讲话引用了这个习语：

"The common denominator is the need to engage China from a position of strength. That requires working with allies and partners, not denigrating them, because our combined weight is much harder for China to ignore. It requires engaging in diplomacy and in international organisations because where we pulled back, China has filled in," he said.

其大意是要联合盟友，才能在和中帝竞争中处于有利地位。所以杨说“你们没有资格从实力的地位同中国谈话”其实是曲解这个习语的意思了。

所以要有一套外交辞令，大家按既定的词汇表达，对于不常用的意思，优先使用formal词汇。

“反动”应该拆分成没有歧义的具体事项如 separatist activity分离活动，state subversion颠覆政权，terrorist activity KB活动，collusion with foreign forces勾结国外势力，insurrection暴动。

有多少项说多少项，不用模糊概念。
