Inter use Kovacic money for Toure?

It’s reported that Inter would use any potential windfall from selling Mateo Kovacic to Liverpool to buy Yaya Toure from Manchester City.

It was reported yesterday that the Merseyside club are sending scouts to assess the Croatian international, although that may be hampered by a knee injury.

Tuttosport believes that the Nerazzurri would demand around   30m for the playmaker who is under contract until 2019.

The newspaper states that the money raised would then be used to try and land long-term target Yaya Toure, for whom Coach Roberto Mancini has repeatedly asked.

However, the Turin sports daily believes Liverpool would face competition for Kovacic from Barcelona, as well as fellow Premier League side Arsenal.
