Inter bid for Imbula?

Reports in France say that Inter have made an approach for Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula, but Valencia are also interested.

According to L’Equipe, the 22-year-old was close to striking an agreement with the Spanish giants last week but the Nerazzurri have now launched a bid.

The report says that Inter have offered a deal worth 22m for the player, split into a transfer fee of 18m and 4m of bonuses.

The San Siro club have been active in the transfer market and are believed to have reached a deal for Atletico Madrid defender Miranda.

They are also pressing for another France-based player, Geoffrey Kondogbia of Monaco, and are currently believed to be locked in a bidding war with rivals Milan for the midfielder.
