Montoya agent: ‘Talks with Inter’

Barcelona defender Martin Montoya’s agent confirms talks with Inter - ‘we hope the deal will have a positive ending’.

It was reported earlier today that the full-back was close to agreeing a move to the Nerazzurri, and his representative admits that talks are underway.

“We’re talking with Inter about Montoya,” Juan De Dios Carrasco told Calciomercato.

“We hope the deal will have a positive ending, we’re working on it. Montoya thinks Inter is a great club, and a great opportunity.”

The speculation is that Montoya will arrive on an initial loan deal, with the Beneamata having the option to redeem him for 8m.
