Perisic agent meets with Inter

Inter look to be close to selling Xherdan Shaqiri to Schalke 04, while Ivan Perisic’s agent is at Nerazzurri HQ.

The Beneamata seem intent on replacing the Swiss winger with the Wolfsburg man, and talks appear to be advancing.

Calciomercato reports that Inter have agreed to sell Shaqiri on the basis of an initial 2m loan, with a mandatory redemption clause of 15m.

The website believes only the final agreement from the player is missing, which is likely to be a formality, with the former Bayern Munich man thought to have already said his goodbyes.

With the deal close, Calciomercato believes the Nerazzurri are ready to raise their offer for Perisic to 17.5m, with the player’s agent currently meeting with club officials at their headquarters in Milan.
