Inter 8.5m for Eder rejected?
By Football Italia staff
Inter are continuing to push Sampdoria for striker Eder, though the latest 8.5m offer was rejected.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Blucerchiati are holding out for their forward, who turns 29 in November.
Negotiations are continuing and could well reach a positive conclusion before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Eder is seen as an alternative to Mauro Icardi and can also play in a wider attacking role.
Samp paid 3.5m to sign him from Cesena in 2012 and since then the Brazilian has become an Italy international.
In turn, Eder is the more easily-accessible transfer alternative to PSG star Ezequiel Lavezzi.
