Inter beaten by Lecco

Roberto Mancini encouraged Felipe Melo and Alex Telles after Inter suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Lecco.
The Nerazzurri newcomers made their debuts from the start in this friendly, but the result was a shock to supporters.
The Lega Pro side took the lead after just five minutes when Joelson made the most of a Martin Montoya error.
By the 20th, Cardino had also pounced on struggling Montoya to score a second.
Rodrigo Palacio missed a sitter when clear on goal, then ex-Galatasaray full-back Telles hit the bar.
Right at the end, De La Fuente snatched a consolation effort for Inter.
“The result is not remotely important,” insisted Mancini on Inter Channel.
“What matters is getting minutes in our legs and evaluating a few young players. Melo and Telles did well. We experimented different tactics and gave room to some youngsters who did well.”
Inter: Carrizo; D'Ambrosio, Santon, Juan Jesus; Montoya, Guarin, Melo, Gnoukouri, Telles; Baldini, Palacio
