Inter swap Melo for Telles?
By Football Italia staff
Inter could reportedly return Felipe Melo to Galatasaray, in order to take Alex Telles permanently.
Both players joined the Nerazzurri from the Turkish side this summer, but while Melo arrived permanently, his Brazilian compatriot is on loan.
It’s thought the cost of making the move permanent would be around 8.5m, a fee the Beneamata are unwilling to pay after a big transfer outlay last summer, given that Champions League football next term appears unlikely.
Melo has only completed 90 minutes three times in his last 10 games, and Turkish website Acunn reports that he could soon be heading back to Istanbul.
The former Juventus man remains a popular figure with the Gala fans, and he could be offered in exchange for a discount on Telles.
