Inter to sacrifice seven

Inter could reportedly sell seven players, including Samir Handanovic, in order to fund their transfer campaign.

The Nerazzurri are currently restricted in the transfer market due to punishments handed to them by UEFA for breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the club want to move on a number of players without breaking up the core of the squad.

Goalkeeper Handanovic could be the most high-profile exit, as there is believed to be interest from Premier League clubs including Chelsea for the   12m-rated Slovenia international.

Stevan Jovetic and Eder will both be bought out of their loan deals only to then be moved on according to the newspaper, in the same way that Xherdan Shaqiri was sold to Stoke City last summer.

Davide Santon, Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia are all set for the exit door while the Beneamata won’t take up the option to make Alex Telles’ move from Galatasaray permanent.

Roberto Mancini reportedly wants to keep Gary Medel despite interest from Boca Juniors, meaning that Felipe Melo could be moved on to Shenhua Shanghai.
