Agent: 'Toure to Inter next year'
By Football Italia staff
Yaya Toure’s agent warns Manchester City want to keep him, “so it’s easier for Inter when his contract expires next season.”
The midfielder has long been linked with a move to San Siro and reunion with ex-City Coach Roberto Mancini.
“At the moment Yaya is a Manchester City player. We’ll see what happens,” agent Dimitri Seluk told FCInterNews.
“Inter are a great club and Mancini is a great Coach, but we still have to wait.
“There are two things holding up the move, substantially. City want to continue focusing on him and intend to keep him for next season, but this is normal because Yaya is a great player.
“On top of that, the Nerazzurri are limited by Financial Fair Play.”
What are the chances of seeing Yaya Toure at Inter?
“I couldn’t say, we’ll see. Obviously it’ll be easier to see him in Milan at the end of the new season, when his contract will expire.”
Toure is under contract with Manchester City until June 2017 and Inter hoped the club would sell him for a small fee now rather than risk losing the Ivorian as a free agent.
