Empoli: ‘No Inter talks for Saponara’

Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi says there’s been “no contact with Inter” for Riccardo Saponara.

It was reported last night that the Nerazzurri were challenging Milan for the playmaker’s signature, with his father even heading to the club’s HQ.

However, in an interview with CalcioNews24 today, the President of the Tuscan side has denied any negotiations.

“No, there’s been no contact with Inter for Saponara,” Corsi insisted.

Saponara made 33 Serie A appearances last season, scoring four goals and providing 11 assists.
