Inter set for Santon profit
By Football Italia staff
Inter will reportedly make a profit on Davide Santon, as Sunderland will pay 6m for the full-back.
The defender left the Nerazzurri’s training camp this afternoon, as he’s set to seal a return to the North-East of England, having previously represented Newcastle.
Santon should arrive on Wearside tomorrow to make the deal official, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Beneamata will make a profit.
The Italian international re-joined Inter from Newcastle in January 2015, with the total fee for the loan and redemption coming to 4.5m.
With the Black Cats thought to be paying 6m [ 5.1m], it represents a profit on a player who made just 19 Serie A appearances in a season and a half.
