Official: Inter send Longo to Girona

Inter have officially loaned striker Samuele Longo to Spanish side Girona FC.

It is a return to La Liga for the 24-year-old, who already had a loan spell with Espanyol in 2012-13 and Rayo Vallecano from January to June 2014.

Although Longo is owned by Inter, he has been loaned out repeatedly the likes of Cagliari, Verona and Frosinone.

Despite being a centre-forward, Longo has never scored a Serie A goal in 48 appearances.
