Moratti: ‘Football is about results’

Former Inter President Massimo Moratti saw “improvement” against Torino and warns “football is about results”.

Nerazzurri Coach Frank de Boer was under pressure going into the match, and his future is still not assured despite a 2-1 win.

Rumours in recent days have suggested that Moratti still has an influence at the boardroom level, and is pushing for the Dutchman to be axed in favour of Leonardo.

“It was a good display,” Moratti admitted, speaking to Sky.

“But mine is the opinion of a fan: there was improvement. For a fan following the situation, the impression is that De Boer has improved the situation.

“Then, as you know, football is about results.”
