Pioli flies in for Inter

Stefano Pioli has reportedly returned to Italy from a holiday in the USA, backing up talk he’ll be the new Inter Coach.

Frank de Boer will be sacked by the Nerazzurri later today, with only an official announcement from the club still to come.

According to Sky, Pioli has returned to Italy, confirming that he is the number one candidate to replace De Boer.

However, Stefano Vecchi will lead the team against Southampton on Thursday, and could even remain in place for the Crotone game.
