Agent: ‘Ansaldi happy at Inter’

Cristian Ansaldi’s agent says the defender is “happy at Inter”, despite the Nerazzurri’s poor start to the season.

The full-back joined from Genoa this summer, but struggled with injury initially and now Frank de Boer has been sacked after a run of poor results.

“Cristian is happy at Inter, it was his choice to play for the Nerazzurri,” Pedro Aldave told FCInterNews.

“His condition is good, he’s improving every day even if he’s still not at 100 per cent after the injury to his knee.

“He’s playing well but he knows he can do better, much better. The team isn’t winning, but he knows that the squad is good and it’s strong, because they have good players.

“Inter have had some bad luck, against Sampdoria for example, where they deserved at least a draw. The team is strong, and they’ll get out of this.”
