Inter   40m for Manolas

Several sources suggest Inter have been working on a   40m deal for Roma defender Kostas Manolas, despite Premier League interest.

The Greek international is wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, among others, and his performances for the Giallorossi this season only bolstered that reputation.

According to Mediaset Premium and reports in Greece, Inter have been in secret talks with Manolas and his agent for some time.

The plan is to lay the groundwork for a summer swoop worth in the region of   40m.

Inter are owned by Chinese giants Suning Group, who have promised heavy investments in the squad.
