Hull and Swansea for Ranocchia

Reports in England suggest that Hull City and Swansea are batting to capture the signature of Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia.

Both sides are struggling to avoid relegation, and according to the Daily Mirror, are looking at the 28-year-old in order to bolster their hopes of beating the drop.

Ranocchia is now surplus to requirements at San Siro, and the club are happy to let the player go out on loan, as long as there is an option to buy written into the agreement.

Figures are being touted at around   6m, and the Bastia-native has also been linked with moves to Spurs and West Ham United.

It was previously reported that the defender was keen to remain in Italy, but a plethora of interest from the Premier League could prompt a change of heart.
