Trio line up for Acerbi

Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi is reportedly wanted by Inter, Everton and Schalke 04 this summer.

According to Calciomercato.it, the 29-year-old centre-back is hot property on the transfer market and could well move on at the end of the season.

Inter have long been linked with the former Milan, Chievo and Genoa player, but Everton in the Premier League and Bundesliga outfit Schalke are stepping up their pursuit as well.

Acerbi has an eye for goal and scored four in 34 Serie A appearances this season.

He got his career back on track and is stronger than ever after two bouts with cancer.

The defender was also a target for Claudio Ranieri's Leicester City in the January transfer window, offering around   10m.
