Chivu: Ibrahimovic Makes A Big Difference
Inter stopper Christian Chivu insists that Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes all the
difference when he plays after the striker won the title for his side.
The Sweden international bagged a brace to fire his side to Scudetto glory as
the Nerazzurri beat Parma 2-0 at the Tardini. Ibrahimovic marked his return
from injury with a bang as he clinched the title for his side.
Chivu believes that it could have been very different had it not been for the
strikers intervention.
"We are all delighted to have reached this objective and now we have another
one to go as we fight for the Coppa against Roma," Chivu told Sky Italia.
"What made the difference? We worked hard all week with tranquility in
training and yes, of course, Zlatan can always make the difference and he did
today."
Chivu didn't feature during the game and he was in the stands watching as he
currently has a problem with his shoulder.
Inter thus win their third straight Scudetto and the celebrations are likely
to go well into the night. The Serie A trophy will be presented to the club
upon their return to Milan later this evening.
