Cruz: We're Rightful Champions
Inter striker Javier Zanetti believes that his side did deserved to retain
the Scudetto based on their performances throughout the course of the season
and the trial and tribulations they have had to overcome.

Inter have stumbled in the last few weeks and the pressure began to take it's
toll after their loss in the Milan derby.  However, a dominant second-half
display against Parma crowned by a a Zlatan Ibrahimoivc brace saw the
Nerazzurri run out 2-0 winners on the day and the result meant Couz's side
retain their Scudetto crown.

“We’re incredibly happy,” trumpeted Cruz, who himself scored some clutch
goals during the business end of the season.

“It is our third straight Scudetto and we proved what a great squad we are
by remaining united in a difficult week.

“We won a thoroughly deserved title. Despite all the injuries we ran into,
we were able to grit our teeth and bring home the results.

“Now we’re going to celebrate, because we’ve earned it, but don’t forget
next Saturday we are going to the Olimpico for the Coppa Italia Final.”
