Cordoba: The Strongest Team Won The Scudetto
Inter defender Ivan Cordoba believes his side showed their true colours with
a victory in Parma as they lift their third consecutive Scudetto.

It seemed as if the Nerazzurri were heading for disaster following a
disappointing half against the Ducali. However, a dominant second half as
well as a Zlatan Ibrahimoivc brace saw the Nerazzurri run out 2-0 winners on
the day and the result meant Cordoba's side retain their Scudetto crown.

The stopper was delighted and he insists Inter thouroughly deserve the title.

"It was a nice victory and we have been rewarded for all the hard work that
we put in over the course of the season," said Cordoba.

"Winning the Scudetto in this way is a beautiful thing and the whole team
deserves it.

"It was a difficult game but we showed our character by pulling together and
getting the right result and it takes a great side like us to to this.

"We deserve it and we have shown that we are the strongest side. So many
people spoke about us in negative ways and their were reports that we would
throw it away.

"However we showed that this is not the case and it's a brilliant way to end
the season."

Inter left it late to win the Scudetto when they should have had it wrapped
up as early as February but a consecutive run of poor results almost put
their title in jeopardy. Nevertheless the best team won on the day.
