Roma
Doni 6 - Didn't have a whole lot to do, except making a top save from a fierce Maxwell shot in the first half Couldn't have done anything to stop Pelé's amazing strike.
Cassetti 6 - Participated frequently in Roma's attacks and looked solid in defence.
Juan 6.5 - A rock in the center of Roma's defence. Along with Mexes he forms a very effective partnership.
Mexes 7 - Barely set a foot wrong in defence and scored a fine goal with a volley from a corner kick that opened the score.
Tonetto 5.5 - Didn't make himself as dangerous as usual in attack.
De Rossi 7 - Worried more about his defensive duties, but he was literally everywhere, often helping out the back four. Not his best game creatively, but great teamwork.
Pizarro 6 - Not many mistakes, but not many dangerous moments either; played a neat and tidy game in the middle of the park, but didn't really impose himself on the game.
Aquilani 6 - A solid performance from the Italian international, but he couldn't quite make himself as dangerous in attack as his advanced position in midfield required.
Perrotta 7.5 - Scored the second goal and had about a half dozen other dangerous shots and headers. The best man on the pitch along with Pelé. Was very energetic and kept Inter busy for the entire time he was on the pitch, eventually having to be withdrawn due to cramp.
Giuly 5.5 - Disappointing. Poor control, poor passing
Vucinic 6.5 - Kept his cool in front of Toldo to find Perrotta on the second goal, but made lots of mistakes up front. Could have done more.
Subs: Cicinho, Brighi.
Inter
Toldo 6 - Could not be blamed for either goal, and was otherwise solid at the back.
Maicon 7 - Another spirited display from the Brazilian full back. Dangerous going forward and in control of the right wing.
Burdisso 5.5 - Hit the crossbar with a header but was caught out of position on both of Roma's goals.
Chivu 6 - Made an important clearence on Perrotta in the first half, but didn't look as solid as usual in defence. The Romanian is probably most effective playing in midfield or as a full back.
Maxwell 6.5 - One of Inter's most dangerous players tonight, and forced Doni into a fine save midway through the first half.
Zanetti 6 - A typically hard-working performance by the captain, but made more mistakes than usual.
Vieira 6 - A towering presence in midfield as usual, but couldn't quite make an impact going forward.
Stankovic 5.5 - An umpteenth mediocre, ineffectual display in a forgettable season. Was replaced at half time by Pelé (7), who scored a spectacular long-range goal and helped the team back into the match with a commanding midfield performance.
Cesar 5.5 - It's hard to see why Roberto Mancini keeps putting his trust in this player. As usual he failed to make himself dangerous, and made some unforced errors that hindered his side as they attempted, in vain, to dictate the play.
Suazo 5.5 - Was barely ever found by his team mates, but didn't make an impression on the few occasions he had the ball.
Balotelli 5 - A disappointing night for the youngster. Never took a shot on goal and didn't help the team much.
