Jose Mourinho is awaiting news from Inter, but President Massimo Moratti is undecided whether to fire current boss Roberto Mancini according to reports in Italy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport insists that the Portuguese tactician has made his mind up regarding a switch to San Siro and is now expecting the Nerazzurri to make their move.
Inter and Mourinho were reportedly close to signing a deal following the Coppa Italia Final between the Nerazzurri and Roma. However, Mancini's situation is still undecided.
The former Chelsea manager could bring several important players to San Siro, such as Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.
However, the Setubal-born tactician will not wait any longer so Moratti cannot afford to waste any time.
Meanwhile, Mancini could move to Stamford Bridge, although the Italian is not the Blues' first choice.
For the third consecutive year, Inter have ended their season on top of Serie A, but this may not be enough to save Mancio's place on the bench.
The Nerazzurri failed in the Champions League which disappointed Moratti, who was expecting to celebrate the club's 100th birthday with an European triumph.
