Adriano Hopes For Mourinho Appointment
Inter Milan striker Adriano is confident he will return to Nerazzurri's plans
should The Special One be appointed as coach...
The Emperor is set to return to the Italian club in the summer after almost a
season on loan at S00o Paulo to recover from depression that has affected
him since the death of his father.
But the 26-year-old has been linked with football away from the Giuseppe
Meazza, with a loan move to Sampdoria being a likely option for the Brazilian.
Nonetheless, Adriano has revealed that the arrival of José Mourinho will
raise the chances of staying with the Nerazzurri, confirming, at the same
time, his poor relationship with former coach, Roberto Mancini.
"Mourinho's appointement gives me much tranquility. I know he wanted my
services when he was at Chelsea," Adriano said.
"I have had problems with him [Mancini] for one or two years. To me, Inter,
as I have said, are like my second home. I hope I will have the chance to
return and triumph."
