Moratti: Mancio will stay

President Massimo Moratti has reiterated that Roberto Mancini will stay on
the Inter bench after a third straight Scudetto.

“Mancini will stay, nobody should worry about that. This was a Scudetto we
suffered for, but ultimately deserved,” said the patron.

Moratti was in the stands at the Stadio Tardini for this afternoon’s 2-0
victory over Parma, which sealed the Serie A title.

There have been question marks over both the club’s commitment and that of
Mancini, who had said he was leaving straight after the Champions League exit
to Liverpool only to change his mind 24 hours later.

“I hope Mancini will stay,” added general manager Ernesto Paolillo. “This
Scudetto belongs to everybody, but above all to President Moratti, who is
over the moon.”
