Summer Intern (International Trade & Logistics)

Position Summary

This Summer Internship is responsible for coal market research and daily marketing activities, the internship is based in Evolution Markets Inc. Beijing office and could lead to a full time position.

Position Responsibilities:            
a. International & Domestic Coal Market Analysis, create and maintain pricing database
b. Carry out a coal report for a specific county in supply side (Indonesia/Australia/Russia/South Africa/US)
c. Help Broker to prepare the Coal Offer (steam coal, coking coal, PCI etc.)
d. Assist senior brokers in daily activities (communication with client, commercial document preparation, marketing activities, etc.)

Position Requirements/Candidate Qualifications:
a. The ideal candidate will have an interest in and basic understanding of global energy and financial markets, particularly physical coal markets.
b. Education Background: Logistics, Shipping, International Trading, etc.
c. Working knowledge of the global dry bulk shipping industry, particularly coal shipping, loading/unloading terms, familiarity with leading carriers and fleets, etc.
d. Basic interpersonal skills, including effective verbal, written and listening communications skills, in both Chinese and English
