Responsibilities:
To work with power supply solutions for telecom applications within Maintenance and Development projects of Ericsson products and systems. Manage sub-system design, requirement handling, verification and documentation of power supply solutions for telecom applications. Will be working in close cooperation together with our global power system suppliers and be dealing with AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, protection and interface units.
o Participate in projects as resource of electrical design, perform optimized design based on requirement specification, and secure design performance, time and cost. .
o Handle assigned technical issues, Failure Analysis and give technical support to Production, Product Management and Market departments.
o Specify, verify and document new designs in accordance with Hardware Design Process.
o Manage of external power system suppliers from a "Black Box" perspective.
o Contribute with creativity and innovation to Product Innovation target.
o Obtain and maintain a wide knowledge of Ericsson products and power design environment and methodologies used within Ericsson R&D Centers and Global Power Solutions organization.
Qualification & competence requirements
o Master degree or above of first level University, major in Electrical Engineering is required, Power Electronics is preferred
o Have a holistic system perspective and power knowledge.
o Some knowledge in the climate and mechanical area is preferred.
o Knowledge of software design and digital design is considered an additional qualification.
o Good team player with strong communication skill.
o Fluent in English speaking and writing.
o Well organized and creative
o Result oriented and self-motivated with positive personal personality
