Job Description:
• Intern working on Solaris device driver related testing.
• Assist engineer to develop test tools and test cases; implement automation and build test frameworks to further quality of the product.
• Performs hands-on execution.
• Produce defect reports that rigorously quantify the problem to a high degree of reproducibility.
• Participate in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects.
• Work with engineers in several different countries

• Develop technical and architectural specification for automation harnesses or tools; implement automation and build test frameworks to further quality of the product.
• Performs hands-on execution.
• Produce defect reports that rigorously quantify the problem to a high degree of reproducibility.
• Participate in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects.
• Confidently communicate and collaborates with engineering on technical issues.
• Provides team and feature status to management regularly, effectively raising issues to management.
• Work with engineers in several different countries

Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with 3+ years of working experiences related to software quality/software development in technical background (must have)
• Grasps the concepts and tools necessary to maintain and create automation systems with programming skills/experiences. (must have)
• Understands how to design test cases to minimize need for manual analysis of results. (highly desired)
• Be highly responsible and proactive. Be passionate in software and pursue high performance skills consistently. (must have)
• Very good English speaking and writing skills. (must have)
• Strong communication skills and team work. (must have)
• Capabilities of cooperation and task prioritize. (must have)

Skills: C programming, shell scripting and kernel debugging required.
Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is desired: kernel internals, Virtual Platform experience,
network and storage concept, Solaris system administration.
