Job Description:  
The positions are part of the project “Designing Scalable Algorithms on GPU-accelerated Hybrid Architectures”. The work will be carried out at Fraunhofer IDM Centre@NTU (http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/fraunhofer/). The scope of the project is to design and develop new scalable parallel algorithms and efficient implementations for solving compute-intensive problems in computational biology, physics simulations (such as molecular dynamics simulations), etc. We propose the development of these new algorithms on emerging parallel/distributed architectures (such as GPUs, GPU clusters, and Cloud).  
    
Requirements:  
Good Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. (for the Research Officer/Engineer position)  
Good Master degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. (for the Research Associate position)  
Good PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. (for the Postdoctoral Research Fellow position)  
Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Java, multi-threading, and algorithm design  
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills  
Experience with GPU programming, and parallel computing would be an advantage
