The WebSphere Commerce Support organization (part of SWG, Industry Solutions) is looking for one enthusiastic student to join the support teams in Bejing as intern.

The ideal candidate will bring passion, initiative, excellent communication skills, and a “take charge” attitude resolving deep technical issues with WebSphere Commerce including architecture, performance, security, customization and deployment. Candidates need to understand WebSphere technologies and Java, broadly apply them to current and future IBM Support needs, and be able to perform during business critical situations.

The candidates will be working in a global team with well-known, high-profile customers in the retail industry across the continent and around the globe, and contributes to department attainment of organizational objectives and highest customer satisfaction.

WebSphere Commerce plays a significant role in IBM’s Smarter Commerce strategy and is the largest J2EE application on WebSphere Application Server that IBM develops.

The following skills are desired:
- Database administration skills (DB2 and/or Oracle)
- AIX, Linux, and/or Solaris system administration skills (or iSeries)
- Experience in Java Development (J2EE) and J2EE servers, such as WebSphere Application Server
- Networking and TCP/IP
- Basic understanding of electronic commerce
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivation and a desire for on-going learning
- Ability to work under pressure
- Interest in working with leading edge technology and commercial Web sites

Required:
Postgraduate student
English: Fluent
At least 6 months internship.
