Role and Responsibility:
-- Design and develop software test infrastructure framework, tools and processes used for product testing on traditional platforms like Windows, and most variations of Unix, as well as mobile platforms like Apple and Android
-- Analyze design and architectural issues, and improve existing system design and procedures to solve problems in a dynamic environment
-- Deploy systems to various pre-production and production environments and troubleshoot related issues
-- Work closely with team members, including remotely located engineers, managers and architects from MicroStrategy headquarters
-- Readily accept responsibility and demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment as judged by peers and management
Qualifications:
-- Education: Master, or PhD degree in Computer Science. GPA 3.5+/ 4.0 or 80+/100
-- Fluent in at least one of the Object Oriented programming languages, such as Java/C# with strong Object-Oriented design and programming skills
-- Familiarity with test design, software testing tools and frameworks
-- Knowledge of database design, SQL programming and one of the languages like Ruby/Perl used for scripting is desirable
-- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
-- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
-- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and use effectively on the job, as well as to spread acquired knowledge and experience to other team members
-- Positive attitude to work as part of a team
