• Mobile science: Beijing mobile science is actively advancing the state-of-the-art of mobile related research areas, and providing science driven product innovation for the mobile internet. We are facing a lot of challenging science topics, such as mobile behavior analysis, deep local understanding, personalized recommendation, information exploration, mobile advertising and user experience optimization. Based upon Yahoo!’s huge amount of internet data and pioneering distributed computing platform, the team will systematically build the science technology stack for mobile internet. On the other hand, our results will be important to help Yahoo! to build excellent mobile internet services, and endow mobile essentials to existing web products.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Solid understanding of one or more of the following fields: Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, or Computational Optimization.
2. Good knowledge and practice in web engineering, social media or HCI.
3. Fluent in a scripting language such as Python, Perl, or UNIX shell.
4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
5. M.S. or PhD candidate in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Mathematics or related fields.
