Position Legal Intern

Location Hanwei, Beijing
Role and Responsibilities The legal intern will provide legal support to the GE Capital China business and report to General Counsel of GE Capital China. Responsibilities mainly include:
o Maintain and update corporate licenses and permits;
o Conduct legal research;
o Simple legal documents review and drafting;
o Legal document translation;
o Work on corporate governance implementation projects;
o Law firm engagement management and PO raising/legal invoice management for China legal team;
o Day-to-day corporate housekeeping and arrange board meetings/signing of resolutions;
o Record management and quarterly update;
o Provide general administrative and support as required to China legal team.
Qualifications/Requirements o Senior undergraduate student or postgraduate student in a leading law school;
o Ability to work at least 4 working days per week, starting from September 3, 2012 at the latest, and commit a six months’ internship at a minimum;
o Top academic performance with solid legal knowledge and skills;
o Proficient English language skills;
o Excellent communication skills, team player, self-starter, dynamic and ability to interact effectively at an organization;
o Strong sense of taking responsibilities and hard worker;
o Prior internship experience with multinational companies is a plus.
