1.Quality Assurance Intern
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with developers in order to improve understanding of technology sub-components
* Create and maintain Test Plan
* Create and maintain Test Cases
* Involved in Test Cases Review within the Team
* Identify areas of high risks and perform manual test execution
* Bug reporting and verifications
* Other duties as assigned
Candidates should possess the following requirements:
Required skills:
* Ability to communite effectively in English (verbal and written)
* Strong background in Linux Operating Systems
* Some experience in administrating Windows Server
* Relevant working experience in the area of Software Testing is a plus
* Familiar with virtulisation technologies such KVM and Xen will be highly regarded
* Good initiative and fast-learning
* Attention to details
* Can work under high pressure and Can quickly adapt to different work
* Multi-lingual skill is a plus
* Candidates involved in the Open Source community will be highly regarded
* Solid knowledge of computer system architecture is a plus
* Able to work > 3 working days per week for 6 months or longer
2.Kernel Development Internship
Primary Job Responsibilities
Bug fixing existing subsystems defacts especially in the area of kexec kdump and kexec-tools
Participating in broader upstream Linux community mailing list discussions
Helping review and create patches and fixes
Upstream involvement includes contribution of new development work as well as backporting feature and fixes to Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases
Required skills
Have kernel development experience with Linux or UNIX operating systems
Familarity required with kernel debugging, process management, SMP, and kernel system management interfaces
Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, senior or last year undergraduate student prefer
Experience in a variety of kernel subsystems on Linux or UNIX is a strong plus
Prior participation in upstream Linux projects is a strong plus
3.Quality Assurance Internship – Security
Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform security vulnerability assessment, and security penetration testing on Red Hat's cutting-edge cloud products
Use matured test frameworks to automate test cases, and conduct test execution
Identify areas of threat and design test cases to exploit the platform
Report issues and give recommendations to enhance security
Required skills
Familiar with Linux or UNIX
Skilled in one of the programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++
Strong interest in web security and test automation
Familiar with at least one of the areas: XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, session management
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and deliver timely results
Strong oral and written English-language skills
Attention to details, a perfectionist will be highly regarded
Available on 3 or more working days per week for 6 months or longer
