Work out a methodology for evaluating flammability risk and FMEA
a) Establish a process for evaluating the conductors and electrical connections throughout a piece of
electrical equipment together with any associated overcurrent protection.
b) Extend this to an assessment of the materials and working clearances used to provide electrical insulation
and to house the product
c) Develop a working tool which can be used to assess the risk of fire in any given product as a standard
procedure within the existing Product Assessment (PAR) process
d) Submit updated guidelines for the specification of flammability requirements for inclusion in the Product
Specification and Product Quality Control Specification.
