The Role
We are seeking an QA engineer to help with design, implement and execute the test cases required by the App Annie platform to guarantee the highest level of quality and performance. You will be fully integrated to the development team and you will have a complete vision of the platform. Your input will be required from the feature design stage to make sure about the possible impact of a change, and in a second phase you will be responsible for defining the tests required to guarantee successful deployment. Your expertise will be global, from back-end validation and troubleshooting to front end functional testing, including data validation. In addition to ad hoc testing, your mission will be to automate the feature testing as part of the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include
Work as a part of the QA Engineering team, make sure the high quality of the App Annie platform, include product and data
-Defining and implementing the testing methodology related to new features
-Identifying and defining of defects, drive their resolution
-Executing manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of each feature and release
-Automate the test cases based on the selenium framework
-Providing feedback to the development and product team
-Ensuring the work is carried out in accordance with the process, schedule and requirements
You
You should be passionate about Web application, Data with an obsession for tracking problems and improving quality
-1-3 years of software testing experience, automation software development, with background in QA methodologies
-Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
-Strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
-Experience in testing backend system manipulating large scale data
-Experience in testing complex user interfaces
-Proven skills with Python or Java
-Strong SQL skills with significant experiences (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
-Skilled in Linux working environment
-Experience on working in agile team (scrum team)
-Experience in testing using an automated test tool is a plus (Selenium, MBT, Jenkins)
-Experienced in data mining and data analysis is a big plus
-Passion for digital content and mobile apps is a definite plus
-Very good level of English written and spoken
