The Role
This will be a great position for someone that loves IT, is self-motivated and enjoys collaborating with departments to enhance productivity and operations. As the secondary IT professional in the company you will be responsible for managing the current infrastructure, developing solutions to a variety of problems as well as take care about the purchases and the setup of hardware equipment. This is great opportunity to get experience building up the IT infrastructure of a fast-growing startup.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining, with a very high availability and quality, the network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, Internet access, VPN and proxies
-Performing necessary troubleshooting, diagnostic, research, evaluation and documentation of various WAN/LAN/VoIP and data communications issues and solutions
-Configuring maintain and administrate servers: development and production machines (Linux and possibly Windows)
-Ensuring compliance with data security policies and procedures relative to all network systems
-Coordinating with service providers in scheduling preventive maintenance, upgrades and repair and maintains records
-Making IT material purchases and configuration: laptops, servers, software and services
-Setting up hardware and troubleshooting (Mac, Linux)
You
You should have a good experience in the IT related field and be ready to take the responsibility of managing this important part of App Annie.
-2+ years experience in network and system engineering position
-Good knowledge of Linux is a plus (Ubuntu)
-Skilled in MacOS and Windows platform
-Experience managing vendor relationships
-Skilled in configuring Routers, Switches and Firewalls, NAT, VPN and Proxy
-Experience in Database administration (PostgreSQL) is a plus
-Good level of English written and spoken
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or equivalent experience
