Finance Intern Job Description: 
A Siemens product core team looks for a self-driven, business savvy accountant who is ready to take on new challenges. The function role is defined within a product development process that includes finance for the business group and the product development projects.
 
The main responsibility is initialization & update of financial analysis and project capitalization assessment: 
This is the analysis of the business case for the product. Financial models are used to calculate the potential value of a new product. Inputs include:
- costs of product development and transfer to manufacturing, 
- external studies and clinical trials, 
- cost of goods, 
- service costs/profitability, 
- average selling price, 
- forecast, and 
- capital investment. 
Outputs are typically: 
- profit and loss (P&L), 
- cash flow, and 
- net present value (NPV). 
The analysis typically covers the period of product development and few years post product launch. Effects on other products (pull-through, replacement, or cannibalization) are assessed as well. 
Requirement to candidates: 
- Graduate student majored in Finance or Economics, working experience is not required; 
- A quick learner; 
- Responsible, detail-oriented. 
- Strong user of MS Excel (complicated equations and macros); 
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office; 
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English; 
- Independent, team worker, able to work under pressure;  
- Five days per week in summer and winter holidays, three to four days per week during school time; 
- Senior students in the university
