Job Description: Server Board Design
Description:
The intern will be part of a very experienced prototyping team in Intel China Communication Computing Lab, leading up to prove new system solutions for Intel IA-based base station . Will be responsible for multi-processor blade server board-level and FPGA design, debugging issues, and BSP development.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a Master/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science
- Must have the unrestricted right to work as Intern without requiring sponsorship
The ideal candidate has some basic experience building or maintaining PC desktop or server platforms, with in-depth knowledge of at least two of the following: board design using Cadence Allegro PCB or equivalent tool, FPGA/RTL design, hardware debug, BIOS/driver development. Experience with PC architecture, software development is desired but not strictly required.
- The ability to ramp quickly on new and complex products in a dynamic environment is critical.
- The ability to work independently and multitask effectively
