Job Title: Tizen system engineer intern
Department: Open Source Technology Center, Software and Service Group, Intel
Location: Beijing Global Trade Center
Intel Opensource Technology Center (OTC) is missioned to drive timely enabling
of platform features in Linux and other open source software, create unique
value for Intel platforms and technologies through open source software
projects and initiatives, and achieve "Intel as a leader" perception within
open source community.
We're looking for Linux enthusiasts who have passion for cutting edge
technologies, and love challenges of fast studying and resolving issues of new
platforms. In this position, you will be coached by senior engineers on
various Tizen system domain.
Your responsibilities and opportunities will include but not be limited to:
- Opportunity to learn and understand various components in Tizen
system domain, this includes for example: Linux kernel, boot loader,
flashing tool, base system, systemd, D-Bus, resource management, and
other system software;
- Bring up Tizen on new hardware;
Qualifications
- Master degree candidate in Computer Science, Engineering or related majors;
- Fast learning, and self-motivated;
- Solid C programming skills;
- Attendance time guaranteed (at least 3 days per week is mandatory)
- Basic understanding of mobile or embedded industry would be a plus;
- Experience of working with upstream, e.g. patch contribution would
be a plus;
- Experience with rpm build system would be a plus;
- Experience with Yocto or OpenEmbedded would be a plus;
- Proficient in Python would be a plus;
- Linux kernel understanding would be a plus;
